Cut-and-cover tunnel between Hang Hau Station and Po Lam Station 
This section of the tunnel is of a twin-box design, constructed by cut-and-cover method and measuring 12.5 m x 7 m. The casting process is arranged in a 3-stage process (the base slab, the wall elements and the top slab). The above photo shows the use of a pair of traveling tunnel forms for the casting of the tunnel section.  Sheet pile walling and the strut arrangement are being used as support for excavation
