EnviroSeries Conference on Sustainability in Greater Bay Area
Business Environment Council Limited (BEC) will host its flagship event, the EnviroSeries Conference on 23 May 2018. With the theme of “The Greater Bay Area – Leveraging Opportunities for Hong Kong in the Transition towards Sustainability”, the conference will serve as a platform for policy makers, industry experts, business leaders and academics to exchange views in exploring how Hong Kong can make the most of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area initiative to help the area become a world-class, low carbon economic hub which benefits Hong Kong businesses.
     In this EnviroSeries Conference, panels will explore ways for Hong Kong businesses to play a role which effectively enhances the quality of life and sustainable development of the cities in the Greater Bay Area and how they can strengthen their competitiveness through green and low-carbon methods of production and operation.
     The sectors which the conference will focus on are Finance, Transportation and Logistics, Waste Management, and Property Development/Management.
