Building and plant safety
DEKRA Korea and Risk Engineering Service (RES) announced their cooperation in the areas of building and plant safety, fire protection, risk management, safety assessment and advisory services. Both companies plan to focus on industries including building & infrastructure, oil & gas, petrochemical, nuclear, semiconductor plants and manufacturing facilities.
     RES brings into this cooperation its competencies in fire safety audit and inspection, design review, and risk assessment. DEKRA is contributing its wide array of consulting expertise, technical competencies, and digital knowhows, in the occupational and process safety areas including organizational cultural and leadership aspects.
     With the vision to be the global partner for a safe, secure, and sustainable world, DEKRA has set itself the goal of thinking ahead for safe and healthy workplaces. DEKRA and RES together plan to establish a set of comprehensive services to reduce the accident risks in various industrial environments.
     DEKRA has been active in the field of safety for almost 100 years. Founded in 1925 in Berlin as Deutscher Kraftfahrzeug-Überwachungs-Verein e.V., it is today one of the world's leading expert organizations. DEKRA SE is a subsidiary of DEKRA e.V. and manages the Group's operating business. In 2021, DEKRA generated sales totaling more than EUR 3.5 billion.
