The Sina new headquarters building is located at Zhongguancun Software Park, Phase 2 Western District and in close proximity to the Tencent Beijing headquarters, another IT giant in China.
     Construction began in 2014, the Sina headquarters building is a massive 6-level building block with a total GFA of approximately 130,000 square meters. Built at the cost of RMB1.5 billion, the new buidling is designed to meet the highest international green building standards. Upon completion, a total of 5,000 employees will be able to work together in one place under one roof. The project was awarded LEED Platinum certification.
