HKRI Taikoo Hui's shopping mall opens its doors with Star Wars Exhibition
HKRI Taikoo Hui in Shanghai's Puxi is welcoming guests to its shopping complex. This mixed-use project comprising a shopping mall, two premium Grade-A office towers, two hotels and one serviced-apartment building, is set to be an iconic lifestyle destination in Shanghai.
A joint venture between Swire Properties and HKR International, HKRI Taikoo Hui has already been leased, with the shopping complex offering around 250 fashion, lifestyle, beauty and accessories brands, and 45 eateries. The shopping mall has also dedicated over 10 event spaces to host exceptional activities and events. To showcase the development's dedication to offering world-class experiences, HKRI Taikoo Hui has partnered with The Walt Disney Company (China) Ltd to be the sole host of the HKRI Taikoo Hui * Star Wars Theme Exhibition in Mainland China.
The two office towers will be home to a mix of domestic, regional and international corporations. HKRI Centre One opened its doors in December 2016; while tenants have begun moving into HKRI Centre Two since April 2017.
Both of these office towers were built with sustainability in mind and are among the few commercial buildings in Shanghai to have been pre-certified for a LEED Platinum rating.
Located at 789 Nanjing Road West, HKRI Taikoo Hui is a 50:50 joint venture between two Hong Kong listed companies-HKR International and Swire Properties, with a total investment of RMB17 billion. The development covers an area of about 63,000 square metres, and a gross floor area of about 322,000 square metres, including a lifestyle shopping mall, two Grade A office towers, three boutique hotels and serviced apartments, and more than 1,200 parking spaces.
