Works has started to demolish a 200-metre long wall blocking the seaview along the Kwun Tong waterfront.

The HK$3 million District Councils District Minor Works project will involve dismantling the wall and beautifying adjacent government land to develop it into open space. It will finish by the end of 2009.

     The project, from discussion, design and vetting to tendering, was launched within three months.
