A Sai Kung site (Lot No.1950 in Demarcation District No.221) has been triggered for sale under the Application List System. It will be disposed of by public tender. The Lands Department said the Government has accepted the applicant's minimum guaranteed bid of $580 million for the lot. The tender invitation will start September 23, and close October 21. The site is 17,940 sq m and is designated for hotel purposes. The minimum and maximum gross floor areas are 16,146 and 26,910 sq m.
     Another site at South Bay Road will be also inviting tender. The Lands Department announced the tender invitation for the private residential site near 35 South Bay Road on Hong Kong Island will start on September 23 and close on October 28. The lot has a site area of 1,338 sq m with a gross floor area of 723 sq m to 1,204.2 sq m.
